Welcome to "Enhancing Presence: A New Approach to Mental Health Management." a CFPC accredited program

 Dear Esteemed Colleague,

With genuine enthusiasm, I am pleased to announce the accreditation of our transformative program, "Enhancing Presence: A New Approach to Mental Health Management." (CFPC CPD program number 200672).  This isn't merely a workshop; it's an invitation into a journey of deepened understanding and presence.

Program Schedule and Structure:

Throughout the year, our program offers 50 standalone sessions, each spanning 1.5 hours. These are thoughtfully scheduled every Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Ajax Harwood Clinic, 88 Harwood Avenue South, Ajax, Ontario. Recognizing the demanding schedules physicians often grapple with, our flexible design allows you to participate in the sessions that align best with your availability.

A defining element of our program is the real-time, clinical setting, where participants, including patients, engage in a shared experiential learning journey. Additionally, every session integrates the profound practice of ear acupuncture, granting participants the opportunity to achieve an even deeper level of presence.

Agenda and Content:

Breaking away from traditional didactic workshops, our program is anchored in experiential learning. Through each session, participants embark on reflective and embodied learning journeys, enriched by personal experiences and shared narratives from peers and patients alike. To further elucidate, the "BEST MAP" document has been included, offering a hint of the myriad experiences awaiting exploration.

Learning Objectives:

1. Importance of Presence: Understand and convey the crucial role of presence in mental health management.

2. Theory and Application of Sensory Awareness: Unravel the foundational principles of sensory awareness and its impact on enhancing presence.

3. Practical Engagement with Sensory Awareness Techniques: Actively engage with and reflect upon sensory awareness exercises.

4. Benefit from Peer Discussions: Engage in insightful dialogues, distilling a plethora of perspectives on sensory awareness and presence.

5. Integration into Clinical Practice: Develop a roadmap to seamlessly embed sensory awareness techniques into daily clinical engagements.

Credits Allocation:

The awarding of Mainpro+ credits is stringent, transparent, and solely based on your actual engagement. While the program offers an expansive 75 Mainpro+ credits, the credits awarded will be directly proportional to individual attendance.

Registration:

To be a part of this enlightening journey, please email me directly at c.yu765@hotmail.com or send me a text at 647 269 7986 with your planned dates of attendance.

This is not just about adding a new skill to your repertoire; it's about transformation and deepening connection. If the sessions resonate with you, we kindly suggest a voluntary donation of $25 to a charity you hold dear.

Join us in this voyage of self-discovery and enrichment.

Warm regards,
